I had a student go through and ask me a few questions about hand therapy and how to make it easier for OT students going into fieldwork.

Carla wanted to know what's the biggest mistake about documenting. It's not so much a mistake but rather a practice that must be learned.

Here's MY process when managing your time with documenting. As a student, my best advice is to follow your CI's lead. Right or wrong….you should follow and learn as much as possible. Learning can be about "what I want to do as an OT" and it is also "what I would NOT do once I am an OT."
